Cool the Body with a cooling breath (Sitali breathing)
Sitali is a kind of breathing technique that cools and soothes the body, adding moisture to your system.
Are you a tongue roller?! If you can, simply curl the sides of your tongue to form a 'straw' and breathe in and out through your mouth for a couple of minutes. Return to your regular breath and repeat this cycle if you choose. Work up to max 10 mins alternating between the cooling breath and your regular breathing.
But what if I can't curl my tongue? Lots of people can’t and if this is the case you can either breathe in and out over a flat tongue (like a dog) or try Hissing Teeth Breath by inhaling through the mouth with closed teeth.
